Entry with the Go Seattle Card
The Center for Wooden Boats offers an active, engaging Seattle experience that can’t be found anywhere else. The coffee pot is always full and the classic boats ready for you to explore at this welcoming museum dedicated to Seattle’s small craft maritime heritage. Head down to South Lake Union Park where, for no charge, you can explore their collection of more than 100 wooden boats. Watch master craftsmen steam-bend an oak frame, cast an oarlock, and carve a traditional Haida Canoe. Visit one-of-a-kind vessels at the Historic Ships Wharf. Rent a rowboat or see the visual richness of the city from a unique perspective—with your hands on the oars of a graceful pulling boat.
