Exotic tropical plants and floral displays await you at the W. W. Seymour Botanical Conservatory in Wright Park. This historic glass conservatory with its distinctive twelve-sided central dome is listed on the City of Tacoma, Washington State, and National historic registers. The dome and wings of the Conservatory are made up of 3,500 panes of glass. A permanent collection of more than 550 individual plant species is displayed here and includes over 200 orchids, 300–500 blooming plants, and large collections of tender azaleas, Vireya rhododendrons, Clivias, Cymbidium, Agapanthus, Epiphyllum Cacti, and exhibition Chrysanthemums. In addition to the permanent display the Conservatory features varying monthly displays of beautiful and fragrant flowers and live acoustic music every second Sunday from 1:00 pm to 2:30 pm.
Admission is free to all, but donations are encouraged. Go Seattle Card makes an annual donation on behalf of all our customers.

By Car: From I-5 take exit #133, 705 North/City Center, follow signs for 705 north/Schuster Parkway, get in right lane to Stadium Way exit. Turn right at stop light onto stadium. Turn left on 4th Street, follow 4th to “G” Street.
