Boehm’s Candies Inc.

Boehm’s Chocolates has been producing fine Swiss chocolates in the Seattle area since founder Julius Boehm emigrated from Austria in 1940. In 1957 the company moved to Issaquah where Boehm built the Edelweiss Chalet and an Alpine chapel in the shadow of the Issaquah Alps. From the most exquisite, European-style, hand-dipped chocolates to crunchy, classic American peanut brittle, perfection is found in every bite that bears the Boehm’s label. Visitors are invited to tour the chalet and see the Candy Kitchen, enjoy the old-world charm of the upstairs quarters, and stroll the grounds to the charming nearby chapel.
Tip: Self guided window tours are available year-round. Guided tours run June-September and are by reservation only. Please call 425-392-6652 for reservations.
