Recycled Cycles Shop

On October 10, 1994, Recycled Cycles opened its doors to the public. Recycled Cycles was to be an alternative to the “typical” bike shop by offering lower prices through the sale of pre-owned bicycles, parts, and accessories. They wanted Recycled Cycles to be a place where cyclists would want to shop, where bike shop professionals would want to work, and where both customers and employees could have fun sharing their knowledge of and enthusiasm for cycling. Although the shop has grown a lot over the past 12 years (they now also sell new bikes), these remain their goals to this day.

Recycled Cycles buys, sells, trades consign, repairs and restores bicycles. They feature Raleigh, Diamond Back, Marin and Kona bicycles and are an independent full service shop. Recycled Cycles won Raleigh Bicycles “2006 Dealer of the Year” award and the National bicycle dealers association “Top 100 Dealer” award three years in a row.

Hours: Winter Hours: Monday–Friday, 10:00 am–7:00 pm;
Saturday–Sunday, 10:00 am–8:00 pm

Summer Hours: Monday–Friday, 10:00 am–8:00 pm; Saturday–Sunday, 9:00 am–6:00 pm

Closed: New Year’s Day, Easter, 4th of July, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.

Directions: From I-5 North or South take the NE 45th Street/University of Washington Exit. Head East on 45th to Brooklyn Ave. At Brooklyn Ave. turn right and head downhill towards the water to Boat Street. At Boat Street turn right. Recycled Cycles will be on your left less than a 1/4 mile. Recycled Cycles is located near Seattle’s famous Burke Gilman Trail.
